Free Bike Valet at San Marco Hoilday on the Square - Friday Dec. 10th

Bike Jax has been asked to provide a Bike Valet service for tomorrows San Marco Holiday on the Square. The event is from 6 - 9 PM and by the looks of the map below there will be plenty fun for everyone. I hope you will make plans to join us by bicycle and demonstrate to the San Marco merchants how a bicycle allows for more potential customers in a minimal amount of space when compared to the amount of space needed for automobiles.

The weather for tomorrow evening looks like it will warming up from the arctic temps we've had over the last week.

Conversation with an Engineer

It would also explain the copious amount of forehead size holes in various rooms throughout my house.

The Good Life & The Culture of Fear.

Mikael Colville-Andersen of Copenhagenize gives a Ted-Talk on Bicycles as transportation and the culture fear that surrounds them.

I'm not going add anything to this other than to state, that I agree with just about everything Mikael has to say. I firmly believe that marketing is the key to successful advocacy and that the use of a helmet or not should be left to the individual.
