Bike Videos & Music

Here are a couple videos and some music for your Friday enjoyment.

The first video I got via an email from a marketing firm with offices in all the real cities. Which mean, not Jacksonville.

It's of a bike theft that was witnessed and stopped by a female designer in this company's San Francisco office.

You've probably heard the old saying, "A billion chinese can't be wrong." Here is how you market a bicycle. The Flying Pigeon was the official "peoples" bicycle that was the main source of transportation for the masses in China.

Lastly is this catchy little tune from Canadian artist Shera Kelly.

How Not to Lock Your Bike

I came across this bike at the publix on San Jose Blvd next to Target. The owner of this bike has one cable lock, one ULock and one cable. Yet he/she still does not seem to feel there might be a need to lock the bike the rack. Instead they opt to run the cable through the front tire and secure it with the ULock which was around the head tube.

On a side note, this publix has pretty good rack placement but the rack itself is of the old out-of-date wheel benders.
