More Negitive Bike Ads

I have posted a couple examples of positive images of cyclist recently. You can check them out here and here.

While driving to Orlando last week I couldn't help but notice 20 or more billboards from Florida Hospital that line I-95 and I-4 from Daytona and into Orlando.

Nothing like sending a positive message is there? This might not be so bad if Florida Hospital had instead of placing 20 some billboards with only the bicycle graphic. But also used other sport related images. I'm sure they see far more baseball, football, basketball and skateboarding injuries than they do cycling related ones.

Ah! You got a picture of it! I saw one of those on Saturday as I was heading out on a brevet. I thought, "Nice. Another bikes are dangerous message." I wanted to do a post about it, too.... but didn't have a camera.

Yikes. And something tells me that ER sees a lot more car accident victims...

Keri, I was lucky enough to not be driving and just along for the ride which allowed me the time needed to grab a picture after passing the first couple of signs. You should have seen me trying to get into my bag and get my camera ready in time to take the shot before passing it. The driver actually slowed way down on I-4 to help me get the shot. We had a good laugh with each of next 15 or so signs we drove by reflecting on the panic to get the shot posted here. Feel free to use the image if needed.
