I have a bachelor’s degree in the social services field. For several years, I have worked with children who have been diagnosed with mental disorders. It is upsetting to see children victimize at an early age and even more disturbing to see them as predators as early as 5 years of age, however knowing that I am doing my part to assist them in becoming functioning youths and adults is rewarding. The empathy, confidentiality and maturity of a medical assistant are definitely needed in this area. I enjoy establishing a rapport with these clients and helping them to find adequate coping skills to deal with their disorders, therefore I would like to work for a psychiatrist.I would not like to work for an emergency phciayisn for several reasons. I will explain a few. Patients who come to the emergency center typically have serious injuries or trauma. I would not like to have my mind constantly focused on who is coming thru the door and how sever the prognosis is. Knowing myself, I know that would be my focus and I would not be very productive. Also, in the emergency room the staff has to be prepared for anything, I would prefer an area that focuses on a particular specialty. Most importantly, I do not wish to see excessive amounts of blood loss on a regular basis. Actually, not even a minimal amount of blood loss on a regular basis. Giving my opinion and thoughts about this specialty, I would not be an effective employee.

Newer model white Silverado, tag number 018-JBM. As i was riding down Mandarin Rd. (2 lanes, no shoulder and well marked with sharrows) today i came to a section where the lanes split, creating a brief median, maybe 200 feet long. Since the paved roadway is only about 10 feet wide, i took the center of the lane. The driver in question moved to the left, driving with two wheels in the median. As he nearly ran into a tree, he moved back to the right, forcing me almost off the pavement. I quickly memorized his tag and reported the incident to JSO. Im not expecting the police to do much about it and if they talk to him/her, i doubt he/she will care, but maybe if this is circulated widely enough, then social media shame will have some effect.

On that note, id like to say that if you encounter an angry, hostile, or flagrantly unsafe motorist, TRY to get the tag number! Just because society treats cyclists as second class citizens does not mean that we are! You arent powerless against these menaces, you CAN make a report and together we CAN improve the state of affairs for the cycling community!

Ride safe, ride smart, and enjoy the ride

I bought the Ultimate Fudge Brownies, The Coconut Almond Fudge Cookies and the Pecan, Cinnamon and Spice Cookies. I’ll continue in the comment below. The Ultimate Fudge Brownies are deilicous, I could eat them all day. The cacao, coconut walnuts and goji berries really work well together, I know this is the healthiest best tasting fudge I’ve EVER eaten. I’m eating the last one now. The Coconut Almond Fudge Cookies are similar to the brownies, they too are most deilicous. With more coconut and using almonds instead of walnuts it’s hard to believe it’s raw vegan organic dairy and gluten free. So good, so gone!Last but not least The Pecan Cinnamon and Spice Cookie. This might be my favorite of the three, the depth of flavor, the crunch of the pecan with the softness of the maple, cinnamon, nutmeg cookie dough really compliments each other, it reminds me of the holidays. What a good cookie! Well that’s it, I ate them all. My work here is done! Thanks again Barbara for showing me how decadently deilicous raw can be! – Dale
